  • Ella, August 17, 2012

Thanks for this information. Does anyone know of a site where I can upload a batch of photos and then simply edit one after the other. All that I’ve found require me to upload one at a time and then edit and save and repeat. Or another let me upload a handful but then I had to go into each photo to edit. I’d like to start on photo #1 edit and then “next” to the 2nd photo and continue until all are done. It’s just so time consuming to do it one at a time.
    Thanks for your help.

I notice that Ribbet! is missing from your list. Ever since Picnik closed this has been by photo editor of choice. They are about to introduce Facebook and Flickr integration which will in my opinion make this site the best online photo editor.

    – Picnic (pro and with unlimited premium access while it’s still around)

  • tinagleisner, January 22, 2012

  • Christy, June 6, 2010

As a beginner photographer, I find picnik the best. I bought corel and am very dist in the software. Thank you for this site.

  • Peter Dan, May 3, 2010

Today laws are very strict for copyright. A website owner is always looking for some original images to avoid violation of copyrighting.
Photo editing has made it simpler for designers and website owners. A lot of efficient tools like photoshop is making the job easy.

  • eroyun, May 1, 2010

Picnik is a great tool – we use it for our designs pretty often and the results are great. Looking to read more about these kind of tools in your blogs in the future.

  • Alex Aguilar, April 16, 2010

    I have used Photoshop.com a little bit..
It is nice, has some good and necessary functions, but it doesn`t compare with the real thing

  • princo, April 14, 2010

    all are great!, thanks.

  • el terminali, April 14, 2010

great list but ı am using photoshop or corel, program is usefull than online photo editing sites

  • Andrew Hart, April 14, 2010

I know it’s not strictly speaking an “online” editing tool, but Picasa is very good for people with little experience in using more technical tools.

Another off-line option is Gimp. I’ve always found Gimp to be a great alternative to PhotoShop, providing much of the same functionality (not all) and I can forgive the slightly un-polished edges given that there is no price-tag attached.

  • Web Templates, April 13, 2010

While I think web based tools are great, somethings are best done locally in my opinion. Photo editing is one of those things best done on a local system with a calibrated monitor IMO.

  • aledesign.it, April 13, 2010

Thank you for the list, very nice this post! Great links.
