Instructions for Editing the Photo Display PSD

This is a tutorial to hep you use photo display mockup.

Step 1: Edit Single Photo

Below is default setting on the mockup file. Double click layer Photo to change its content.

You may find this dialog box. Just click OK.

Step 3

The layer is opened as a separate file. Paste your photo. You can remove layer border to hide white border on the photo. Here, I’m using autumn stock photos.

Step 4

Save and return to mockup file to see the changes.

Step 5: Add Push Pin-1

Click eye icon on front of pin icon to reveal it. Inside group push pin-1 you can find layer color. Select it and open adjustment panel to change push pin color.

Change the settings.

You can customize its position using tool move. Click eye icon to reveal second push pin.

Step 8: Add Push Pin-2

Click eye icon on front of group push pin-1 to hide it. Click eye icon on push pin-2.

Step 9

Select layer color.

Step 10

Open adjustment panel and change available settings.

Step 11

Click eye icon on second pin to add it. Use tool move to set its position.

Step 12

You can create another pin if you want. Make sure the pin group is selected. Activate tool move. Alt-drag to duplicate pin.

Step 13: Add Transparent Tape

Click eye icon on front of one of the set. Each set is different.

You can still customize the tape individually. Select tape group and use tool move to move it.

You can also transform it. Hit Ctrl + T and drag to rotate the tape.

Step 16: Subtle Highlight

I also add subtle highlight on the photo.

There are another subtle highlight on bottom of the photo. Below, you can see the difference with and without highlight.

Step 18: Shadow

You can choose between regular or irregular shadow under the photo.

You can select available shadow on bottom of the photo.

Step 20: Stacked Photo

Let’s stacked some photos. Click eye icon on front of Stacked Photos to reveal them. Double click layer to change its content.

Step 21

Paste your image and save.

Step 22

You can hide uneeded photos by clicking on its eye icon.

Step 23: Change Background

You can change the background easily. Double click layer texture.

Step 24

Paste the picture. I use another photo from autumn set.

Step 25

Double click the picture and select Color Overlay to add white color and keep the picture subtle.

Step 26

Save the texture file and close it.

Step 27

The background is automatically updated.

Step 28: Paper Clip

Click eye icon on front of group layer paper clip to reveal paper clips.

Use tool move to fix its position.

Activate layer color inside the clip to change its color.

Open Adjustments panel. Change available settings.

Here’s the final result.

As you can see there are so many possibilities with this mockup. For example, you can combine the paper clip with push pin.
