Instructions for Editing Product Box PSD File

This tutorial is for the Product Box Mockup PSD.

This box mockup is very easy to use. Just a few click needed. You just need to change the content of layer front, bottom, left, or right that’s available in the PSD. Save the file then close. That’s it.

Step 1

I have created a template file for the box cover named box-design-template.psd. Start by creating your design there.

Step 2

Use rectangular marquee to select front cover. This should be easy because some guides is available to help you create perfect selection. Hit Ctrl + Shift + C to copy the design to clipboard.

Step 3

For the purpose of this tutorial, we’re using box-5.psd. Double click layer front to change its content.

Step 4

If you see a warning dialog box, just click OK.

Step 5

Hit Ctrl + V to paste the design onto the file. Save (Ctrl + S) then close the file (Ctrl + W).

Step 6

You can see the box cover is automatically updated. No manual transformation needed.

Step 7

Select left cover, hit Ctrl + Shift + C.

Step 8

Return to box-5.psd. Double click layer left.

Step 9

Paste the image onto the file by pressing Ctrl + V. Save file then close it.

Step 10

Again, the cover design has been updated.

Step 11

Select bottom cover. Hit Ctrl + Shift + C.

Step 12

Double click layer bottom.

Step 13

Paste image onto the file. Save and close the file.

Step 14

The design is updated.

Step 15

To change background color, activate Background Color layer. Open Adjustments panel and change its settings.

Step 1

The background clor is changed. Very easy huh? I hope you like it.
