Instructions for ID Set Mockup PSD

These instructions are for the ID Set Mockup PSD.

Step 1: Edit Mockup Design

Every PSD file in the identity set has same structure. Topmost layers contains the mockup design. You need to double click it to modify it. In this short tutorial, I will show you how to modify 2 pages brochure mockup. Same technique can be used to modify other mockup.

Step 2: Edit The Content

Double click layer back to edit its content.

Step 3

Layer is opened as a new file. For this tutorial, I will change its color.

Step 4

Save the file and close it. The design is automatically updated.

Step 5

Double click layer front and edit the design.

Step 6

Save the file and the front page is now updated.

Step 1: Edit Identity Set Full

Let’s edit the full identity set. Inside this file, you can find all object together. Just as other mockup file, topmost layer is editable.

Step 2: Edit Letterhead

Double click layer letterhead-letter to edit it. This letterhead in letter size, used in US. If you live in UK, you may want to use F4. Other countries probably use A4 as standard size.

Step 3

Change the design. In this tutorial, I add some small boxes on right side of the letterhead. Save the file and then close it.

Step 4

Return to our mockup file. Inside group letterhead, click eye icon on group letter to reveal it. Make sure to deactivate the other letterhead size group.

Step 5

Here is the result. As you can see, this mockup is very easy to use. There is no need to transform the design manually.
